Occult Forums is now once again open to the general public for all of your occult needs. Feel free to create an account and discuss anything related to the occult in the various boards provided. That is after all what they are here for. Eric is no longer the owner, as the domain expired. The new owners are a collective of individuals who will be called the Board of Regents . There are several people on this board, some are current members, some are not, but all have a say in the goings on of Occult Forums now, and as such, the place can not be lost, as if one looses interest, there are others that are here willing to remain active. The domain itself is paid up for 10 years, and hosting is paid for the entirety of 2012, which will be auto-matically renewed, upgraded, and expanded as needed, as per the Board of Regents. Backups will also be in place as to not loose any data in the case of catastrophe or mishap. If you were a member here before, welcome back, if you are new, then I’m glad you found the place! I really hope that the new Occult Forums is not a stillborn forums. There seem to be quite a few members already signed up but nothing happening. Let's get this show on the road.
It'll roll... at least once it's rolling. Its already 7 on google for occultforum (up from 40 or 50 while it was offline) Additional links that were once considered dead are being re-found and considered live again. A few more tweaks on the back end of things, and that will help even more. So, the site is back, via the web team & the board of regents, and the SEO/promotion has (self-started). Once there are no more dead spaces here I can start the 2nd and 3rd phases of the SEO/Promotion aspects.... so that leaves the dead spaces... which is up to the memberbase here to get talking I encourage people to start threads for discussion, even if they don't get discussed. Eventually people will see them! I also encourage people to set up alerts to help keep track of said started threads (http://occultforums.com/community/account/alert-preferences)
I used to love reading the site and finding interesting conversations before it went down. So glad it's up and the new layout is clean and very fun to use! Will the Folk Magic and Witchcraft forums be "re-instated/re-started"?

Its all good. We stepped a bit out of the box this time around to help broaden the scope of things, so things are not as clear cut as in the past, which I'm hoping will end up being a good thing On the off chance you can not find a board you are seeking, there are some general discussion boards here for those topics... if you get it wrong, the mods will happily move things for ya
